- xG Race ChartAn xG race chart plots each team's running total of expected goals minute by minute across a match, so the two lines show who created more chances and when.
- Field TiltField tilt is the share of a match's attacking-third passes belonging to one team, expressed as a percentage, used to measure territorial control independent of the scoreline.
- PPDAPPDA counts how many passes the opposition completes, on average, before a defensive action stops them, so a lower number means a team pressed higher and harder.
- Fixture Difficulty ModellingFixture difficulty is built by running a match model for each opponent, ranking the result against every other fixture in the same window, then blending weighted result, attack and defence scores into a 1-5 rating.
- How we score callsA call is a statement xG Stat makes before the evidence is in: Fades or Due on a player, Deserved, Lucky or Even on a match. Each one is checked against what happened next and marked held or missed on the page it was made on.
- How xG Models DifferEvery data provider trains its own expected goals model on its own event data, so the same shot can carry a slightly different xG value depending on which site you are reading.
- Season SimulationA season simulation plays every remaining fixture 100,000 times over from a fitted match model, then reports the range of points and finishing positions each club landed in rather than a single predicted table.
- Why Our Numbers Differ From FPLxG Stat shows two kinds of numbers: FPL facts, which come from FPL itself and always match the official game, and analytics built on independent professional event data, which can differ slightly from other sites while agreeing on season-level trends.
